-
WACE - Certificate
-
WASSA – A transcript of courses and scores in each course.
-
ATAR score – (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank)
ATAR is calculated by SCSA to give a global benchmark to the student.
-
Students seeking an ATAR must complete a minimum of four semesters of 6 ATAR courses (excluding unacceptable combinations).
-
The ATAR is calculated using a student’s top four final scaled scores for Year 12 ATAR courses.
-
The SCSA determines a final combined score for each ATAR course that students complete through their WACE studies.
-
The final combined score is determined by the SCSA using a 50% weighting assigned to school-based assessment marks (moderated by external ATAR course examination marks) and 50% weighting assigned to the external ATAR course examination mark.
-
The SCSA submits final combined scores to TISC in Western Australia to undertake scaling and the calculation of the ATAR.
