10+2 system
For those who have passes 10th grade from any other board / education system
The students are welcome to start SCSA curriculum from Grade 11. Their performance in previous education system like CBSE, ICSE, etc. shall have no bearing on their education under SCSA. They will be treated at par with students who have done their Grade 10 under SCSA system.
The Grade 11th and 12th are divided into 4 semesters,
NAME / JOB / TITLE
2 semesters in Grade 11 and 2 semesters in Grade 12th. The student has to select/chose subjects of his/her that will be used to calculate ATAR. The student will focus on these subjects. In case a student finds that he/she needs to change the subjects after 1st semester or 2nd semester, they can do that. Then the student will select new subjects to replace the ones changed and study the same.
SCSA Curricula is influenced by the use of more formal assessment, such as external examinations together with accreditation and certification, and post-school aspirations of students. Students have a stronger sense of their own strengths, interests and goals, and how these play a major role in determining the decisions that affect their lives and in shaping their learning experiences.
