The Australian School will have the Centre of Excellence in International Career and Education counselling centre, providing long term career and education planning. The students will be guided from Grade 8 about future prospects in education in India and around the world. They will be guided in a holistic way such that education leads towards a fulfilling career.

 

            The centre will have joint sessions of parent and students together to give them a understanding of the potential and possibilities for the student.  The centre will align future education and career with the interest of the student.

 

            In today’s world students are flooded with information and many misinformation about student life in colleges and work life. This leads to disillusionment and frustration. This can lead students towards confrontation with parents, friends and colleagues. The centre will give the right guidance to avoid making wrong expectations and make students and parents aware of everyday realities of life.

 

            Students will be encouraged to approach the future with a open mind and explore possibilities in India and other parts of the world. They will be informed of hundreds of career possibilities and how to grab them.  They will be informed of the scholarships being offered and criteria for such scholarships.
